Tiny Toones greatly values the skills, expertise and passion that volunteers have contributed to our cause over the years. We know the value that volunteers can bring and are keen to work with anyone that can help us to better serve the children and young people that come to Tiny Toones.
How you can help?
We would be happy to hear from you about your skills and how you think you could help Tiny Toones but in particular we would welcome assistance with the following:
- Teaching – Volunteer teachers of dance, sport, English or other academic subjects are welcome.
- Fundraising – This role would include researching new funding opportunities, writing applications, managing existing partnerships including reporting as well as representing Tiny Toones at fundraising events and performances.
- Communication – We would welcome candidates who can help us to further our social media and communication strategy. This position may be combined with a fundraising role.
We would be interested in hearing from anyone experienced in the above. Please note we require a minimum commitment of three months.
What we can offer you
All volunteers are based at our centre in Chbar Ampov. This gives you the opportunity to experience an area of Phnom Penh not normally visited by tourists which will give you a unique experience of life in Cambodia. Working from our centre means you will have daily contact with our Tiny Toones kids so you can see the impact your work is having in supporting them.
Tiny Toones will provide all volunteers with a letter of recommendation following successful completion of their placement.
Tiny Toones can provide transport pick up from the airport. We do not provide accommodation but may be able to make recommendations depending on availability.
